Everything in your life—every experience, relationship, journey, love, and loss—has led you to this moment. Each thread has been woven into the fabric of who you are. You are exactly where you’re meant to be.

You are ready.

I am here to walk alongside you.

A little about me.

Hi there, I’m Chelsea! I currently live in the Lower East Side of NYC after many years of calling Brooklyn home.

As a doula, I bring a calm, steady presence and a deep commitment to client-centered care. My approach is rooted in nourishment—emotional, physical, and informational—helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered to make informed choices throughout your journey.

In birth spaces, I create a grounded and collaborative environment, always attuned to your unique needs. I support families in exploring their birth preferences and goals, navigating the unknowns of pregnancy and postpartum, and making sure you feel held through the entire process. In the postpartum space when most are focused on your baby, I find joy in tending to YOU, ensuring you feel resourced, nourished, and supported as you recover and adjust to your new role.

I am passionate about reviving the village model of care in modern homes, offering thoughtful and hands-on support and connecting you with practical resources during this transformative time. I believe that when new parents are cared for, they can show up more fully for themselves and their families.

I am currently supporting families in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

A little more…

With a creative background in design, buying and small business operations, I bring an eye for attention to detail with me into my birth work. Planning, lists, details, meal prep, digging for evidence based information and answers—all of these things bring me joy.

I am a certified birth doula through Carriage House Birth in Brooklyn, NY. I have taken workshops in labor positioning, babywearing, lactation basics, and breathwork to best support clients in their perinatal journey, and I look forward to continue learning and growing to support you.

In my free time I love going Upstate, cooking (grilling a whole fish is my religion), digging through an antique shop for treasures, curling up and reading a book (probably about birth), wandering around a gallery or museum, and taking a long walk (probably over a bridge) with a podcast on.

My Services

  • Birth Doula

My birth package includes 3-4 prenatal sessions where we’ll get to know each other, explore your preferences & goals, and how we can best work together to support them. We will discuss the what-ifs, decision making frameworks, and I’ll share resources and evidence-based information to help you feel confident and informed in your choices. I also like to take some time to prepare for the postpartum period. In addition to prenatal support and birth & postpartum planning, I’ll provide continuous, in-person support during your birth event and 1 postpartum visit to help you integrate, recover, and reflect after your baby’s arrival.

I am working in partnership with Riv for clients with summer & early Fall due dates. Reach out if you’re curious!

  • Postpartum Doula

My postpartum care focuses on providing calm, practical daytime support as you adjust to life with your new baby. I bring an organized, steady presence to your home—whether that means helping with daily tasks, preparing nourishing meals, or meeting you where you are, tackling it one day at a time. I’ve completed workshops in lactation, pelvic floor basics, and babywearing, and I’m always happy to guide and share what I know, or help you find trusted resources when needed. My goal is to ease your load so you can focus on bonding, resting, and healing.

Postpartum doula services starting at $45/hr

Testimonials

  • "I will forever be grateful that Chelsea was my doula. As a first time mom facing an unplanned induction, I needed a lot of support through my birth experience. Chelsea was right there every step of the way providing the unwavering guidance, reassurance, and expertise we needed. Looking back, I know for certain my birth experience would not have been the same without her. She provided a pause at every stage where we had to make a decision or digest a new piece of information. She helped me advocate for myself and stay in charge of my own experience, rather than get swept away by the routines and expectations of the hospital. When I was discouraged she kept me in the game. When I didn’t know what to do, she reminded me what my options were. When I was exhausted and defeated, she responded with so much kindness, empathy, care, and encouragement. No matter which direction it seemed like the birth was going in that moment, she brought evidence based information and expertise to help us make decisions about what to do next. I fully believe her skills and knowledge helped me avoid a C-Section and achieve the vaginal birth I deeply desired. Chelsea’s postpartum support was also incredibly valuable. Knowing we had her on our side as a voice of reason and reassurance helped us navigate those early days of chaos with a little more ease. She was a lifeline of sanity and calm, and I truly felt how much she was rooting for us as new parents. I am so deeply grateful for Chelsea and I would recommend her to anyone navigating this major life change. You will receive exceptional care, nourishment, support, and kindness."

  • "Chelsea was an incredible resource for my husband and me as we prepared to expand our family. Even though we worked with her virtually, she created such a sense of ease, care, and safety that made it feel very personal and supportive. She has an amazing presence—so calm, genuine, and full of warmth. Her gentle nature, along with her smile and laugh, instantly put us at ease. Throughout our time together, she guided us through pressure points, birth planning, decision-making, advocacy, and comfort measures. She also shared helpful postpartum tips, including babywearing, and supported me in those final weeks of pregnancy by keeping me calm and reassured about my progress. Any time I had a question or concern, Chelsea was there. She didn’t just provide answers—she educated me, reassured me, and helped normalize everything I was experiencing. I truly felt supported every step of the way. I would highly recommend her and wish we had had the opportunity to work with her in person."
